Vic joined OLIVE WALLER ZINKHAN & WALLER LLP in 1983 and became a partner in 1988. He was born and raised in Regina and attended the University of Saskatchewan where he graduated from the College of Law in 1982 after completing his undergraduate degree, with distinction, in 1978 at the University of Regina. Vic was admitted to the Law Society of Saskatchewan in 1983.

In 2007, Vic served as President of the Law Society of Saskatchewan, which was a particular honor since the Society celebrated it's Centennial. He remains on the Law Society's executive as immediate Past President. In 2006 Vic was awarded the honorary designation of "Queens Counsel" which is a recognition of his standing amongst colleagues, the courts, the legal profession and the community.

Besides serving as a Bencher of the Saskatchewan Law Society for the last four years, Vic was part of the original group to set up and incorporate ProBonoLaw Saskatchewan in January of 2008 and serves as its first President. He continues to serve on the Board of the Saskatchewan Legal Aid Commission. He is a past member of the Provincial Court Judicial Council and continues to serve on numerous other advisory committees. He is a member of the Canadian and Regina Bar Associations and is an active member of the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) which yearly presents the JUNO awards.

Vic primarily works with the firm's credit union, debtor/creditor/bankruptcy and real estate teams.
