Randy joined Olive Waller Zinkhan & Waller LLP in 1985 and became a partner in 1991. Randy was raised in Swift Current, Saskatchewan and went on to the University of Saskatchewan, where he obtained his law degree in 1984. He was admitted to the Law Society of Saskatchewan in 1985.

Randy is a member of the Canadian and Regina Bar Associations. He has served as Co-Chair of the Real Property (South) Section of the Saskatchewan Branch of the Canadian Bar Association. Randy is a Director of Regina & Region Home Builders' Association Inc. and New Home Warranty Program of Saskatchewan Inc. Randy is an appointee to the Western Conveyancing Protocol Committee, a Law Society committee. He also serves on the Legal Focus Group with the Land Registry.

Randy has been a sessional lecturer for the Faculty of Administration, University of Regina, and he has lectured for the Public Legal Education Association, at several Canadian Bar Association Mid-Winter Meetings and at numerous continuing legal education seminars. Randy was recognized as an Outstanding Volunteer of the Year 2002 by Saskatchewan Continuing Legal Education Society Inc..

Randy practises primarily in the areas of conveyancing, wills and estates and debtor/creditor law.
