Christine was born and raised in Carman, Manitoba. She moved to Saskatoon to attend the University of Saskatchewan where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree with High Honours in Psychology in 2001. Her thesis and research in the area of gender and health earned her an award for Student Research (B.A. Honours Category) in 2000-2001. Christine then attended the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan where she earned her Bachelor of Laws degree in 2004.

Christine has participated in numerous extra-curricular activities both in University and in the communities of Saskatoon and Regina. She is currently a member of the Regina Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association and in 2006 Christine became an active member of the Collaborative Lawyers of Saskatchewan.

Christine joined Olive Waller Zinkhan & Waller LLP in 2004 to complete her articles and was admitted to the Law Society of Saskatchewan in June 2005.

As an associate lawyer, Christine is engaged in the general practice of law with a specific interest in family law and labour and employment law.
